A difficult but necessary decision
Peter Ourensma, Managing Director of the organization behind Boot Holland, explained that the decision had been taken after consultation with stakeholders in the boating industry.
"After the coronavirus pandemic crisis and the resulting economic uncertainties, the sector is seeking a new equilibrium. These conditions make it impossible to guarantee a show that will live up to expectations in 2025" he added.
Although not taken lightly, this decision was taken to safeguard the interests of exhibitors and visitors alike. Some one hundred exhibitors already registered for 2025 have been informed of the postponement, and almost all have confirmed their intention to take part in the next edition.
