Paris Nautic Show 2025: a new lease of life for the historic boat show?

For the third time since its last edition in 2022, the major Paris boat show will be attempting a facelift. With a new name, a new location at Le Bourget and a refocused ambition, the Paris Nautic Show 2025 aims to reconnect with the industry and its enthusiasts, while celebrating a century of history.

A long-awaited return for France's flagship yachting event

The Paris Boat Show returns from november 26 to 30, 2025 under the name Paris Nautic Show, with a symbolic edition held at the Parc des Expositions du Bourget. This return, orchestrated by the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN), is intended to give new impetus to an event that has historically been central to the boating industry. With 2 halls, 40,000 m² of exhibition space, 350 exhibitors and nearly 400 boats expected, the event targets an attendance of around 100,000 visitors . A refocused format, deemed more realistic, with a clear objective: to federate the industry, restore visibility to its players and strengthen the link with practitioners.

A century of history, from the Grand Palais to Le Bourget

The show's history dates back to 1925, when it was held on the banks of the Seine and at the Grand Palais. It then moved to the CNIT in La Défense, then to Porte de Versailles, becoming a mainstay of the French nautical calendar. In its heyday, particularly in the 1990s, over 300,000 visitors flocked to the show. In 2021, the show was still welcoming 200,000 visitors and 785 exhibitors, but the last edition was held in 2022, with declining attendance. Since then, the show has come to a standstill.

Between cancellations and missed relaunches

The year 2023 was to mark a revival with a project called Nautic en Seine, centered on an open-air format in Boulogne-Billancourt. Despite a positive reception, the project was first postponed to 2025, then cancelled due to an uncertain economic context and a below-expectation marketing performance. The FIN finally decided in favor of an indoor relaunch at Le Bourget, more in tune with the needs of the industry.
