Strategic development in industry and boating

The acquisition of the Nantes-based group Lemer is part of an industrial strategy for Carlesimo Groupe, which is strengthening its foundry division already comprising several specialized subsidiaries. These include Lory International and Althimasse dedicated to cast-iron counterweights for industry and civil engineering, and Navylest International a specialist in lead ballast weights and keels for the nautical industry. With this new acquisition, Carlesimo broadens its expertise and strengthens its offering in the marine, nuclear and aeronautical sectors.
Recognized expertise in ocean racing

A long-standing manufacturer of lead keels and bulbs, the Lemer foundry is a key player in major sailing competitions. Its location on the Atlantic seaboard has enabled it to become a key supplier for prestigious events such as the Vendée Globe and the America's Cup. The ISO 9001-certified factory has a 450 m² production site dedicated to the manufacture of custom keels, from mini 6.50s to superyachts.
Strong partnerships with shipyards

Lemer works with numerous French and international shipyards, including CDK Technologies, Multiplast, Chantier de l'Atlantique and Bénéteau. These partnerships enable us to support the construction of racing yachts, top-of-the-range pleasure boats and even military vessels. Thanks to its know-how, the foundry provides solutions tailored to the specific needs of each builder, guaranteeing performance and reliability for the units produced.
With this integration into the Carlesimo group, Lemer secures the long-term future of its business while benefiting from new development prospects. Its expertise in technical alloys and radiation protection should also open up opportunities in cutting-edge sectors.
