Safety and training: Tout Pour Le Bateau boosts the skills of its technicians in Gruissan

In the port of Gruissan, Tout Pour Le Bateau has set up a specific training program to ensure safety when working at height. Designed in partnership with GRETA-CFA, it enables technicians to perfect their skills on sailboat masts in real-life conditions.

Essential training for safety at height

As part of its drive to improve working conditions and prevent occupational hazards, Tout Pour Le Bateau, based in the port of Gruissan, recently introduced a specific training course dedicated to safety at height: "Ascension sur mât en sécurité". This initiative aims to enhance the skills of technicians working on sailboat masts, an area where mastery of safety procedures is paramount.

Tailor-made training in collaboration with GRETA-CFA

The training program was developed in partnership with GRETA-CFA de l'Aude et des Pyrénées-Orientales, renowned for its expertise in vocational training. This collaboration made it possible to design a course adapted to the requirements of working at height in a shipyard. Olivier Giraud, vocational training advisor, Guillaume Philippe, Nauti Campus Occitanie operational manager, and Antoine Sennepin, trainer, played a key role in setting up this training program.

The three-day program alternates theory and practice to ensure effective assimilation of safety protocols. The aim is to anchor good practices in a lasting way, to avoid accidents linked to working at height.

Immersion in real-life conditions at the port of Gruissan

One of the strengths of this training program is that it takes place in the technical area of the port of Gruissan, where Tout Pour Le Bateau carries out ship maintenance and repairs. This immersion allows technicians to evolve directly in their usual work environment, handling equipment and applying safety instructions in real-life conditions.

This operational framework facilitates the understanding of risks and the immediate application of knowledge acquired during theoretical sessions. In this way, learning in the field helps to anchor essential safety reflexes.

A commitment to a safer shipyard

With this training, Tout Pour Le Bateau is actively committed to the prevention of occupational hazards and compliance with safety standards. Ensuring that technicians have the necessary skills to work safely at height is a priority for the company, which is reinforcing its position as a responsible player in the nautical sector.
