Mercury Marine and Quick Nautical Equipment improve low-speed maneuverability

Quick Nautical Equipment, the Quick Group's flagship brand, announces a partnership with Mercury Marine, unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show 2025. The aim of this partnership is to integrate Quick Nautical Equipment's bow thrusters with Mercury's joystick steering system, offering greater precision in low-speed maneuvers.

Quick Nautical Equipment: a benchmark in bow thrusters

Quick Nautical Equipment is renowned for the reliability and technical sophistication of its anchoring systems, water heaters, inverters, battery chargers and, in particular, its bow thrusters. The brand was among the first to introduce thrusters equipped with IP68 synchronous motors with integrated driver, guaranteeing continuous, proportional operation.

Total integration with Mercury Marine joystick

Quick Nautical Equipment thrusters are now compatible with Mercury Marine's joystick steering system. This compatibility allows perfect synchronization of thrusters with outboard and inboard engines, enhancing the maneuverability of single- and multi-engine boats.

A communication gateway for extended compatibility

To ensure seamless integration, Quick Nautical Equipment has developed a specific gateway linking its proportional control system (PCS) to Mercury Marine protocols. Not only does this solution enable greater responsiveness, it can also be installed on existing systems, provided the PCS is present or added.

Tangible benefits for boaters

The integration of Quick Nautical Equipment thrusters with the Mercury joystick brings several benefits to sailors:

  • Greater precision maneuvering in port or in confined waters becomes much smoother.

  • Ease of use intuitive control via a single joystick.

  • Adaptive installation compatibility with existing installations.
