A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts
The Vene 25 Båt boat show, Northern Europe's largest nautical event, will be held from february 7 to 16, 2025 at the Helsinki Convention and Exhibition Centre. With over 400 boats on display, this year's show will feature an expanded range of sailboats and powerboats, as well as an enriched fishing section.
Finnish industry in the spotlight
Almost 85% of the boats presented at the show are made in Finland, testifying to the country's expertise in boatbuilding. Several new models will be unveiled, reinforcing the position of Finnish industry on the international market. Although the show is primarily aimed at the national public, it attracts many foreign visitors every year.
Large numbers of sailboats and motorboats
Five large yachts will be on display this year: the Beneteau Oceanis 37.1, the Beneteau Oceanis 40.1, the Nautor ClubSwan 43, the Hanse 410 and the X-Yachts X4.9 MkII. The show will also feature over 400 powerboats, including several new models such as the aluminum Silver Hawk SCX & BRX, the fiberglass AMT 150 R and the Yamarin Cross 55 BR, available in standard and fishing versions.
Cruising enthusiasts will discover the Aquador 400 HT, while adventure enthusiasts may be interested in the Saxdor 340 GTWA or the Arronet Arrofoil 25 Cabin, a foiling boat offering improved energy efficiency. The largest unit at the show will be the Sunseeker Manhattan 55, a 17-meter yacht weighing 27 tons.
A space dedicated to classic boats and new technologies
The show will also feature classic boats, including three restored Riva models. An area will be devoted to nautical innovations, with the presentation of an electric boat built by artisan carpenters. In addition, the event will welcome rower Jari Saario and his boat designed for his "Horn to Hope" challenge, a project that will take him from the southern tip of South America to Cape Town in South Africa.
A stronger offering for fishing and water sports
The 2025 edition will mark an increase in fishing-related activities. More dedicated boats will be on display, and fly fishing will be given greater prominence. In addition, a pool will be set aside for demonstrations and trials of fishing techniques.
Water sports include stand-up paddling, canoeing and diving. A fly-fishing course and a diving pool will complete this immersive offer.
Events and competitions for all enthusiasts
The show will feature several themed areas. The "Marina" area will host sailors' stories and debates on sailing in the Baltic Sea. In the Venemestari area, visitors can watch boats being restored and get maintenance advice.
Fans of new products will discover models recently launched on the market, while the Alutroll-Tohatsu stage will focus on techniques and equipment dedicated to fishing. A new competition, "A new life for the boat", will feature three restored boats.
An event that marks the start of the boating season
The Vene 25 Båt officially opens the Finnish boating season and hosts the Helsinki Outdoor & Hunting Fair for the first time during its first weekend, from February 7 to 9, 2025.
The show will take place over ten days, with extended opening hours to enable visitors to take full advantage of the event. Tickets are available at a reduced rate in advance on the official show website.
