Ken, Philippe and Sam Marcovich

On January 22, 2025, Sicomin, a global specialist in advanced composite materials, announced the appointment of Ken Marcovich as CEO. Succeeding his father Philippe Marcovich, who led the company for 42 years, Ken takes over the reins of a company with international reach, while continuing his commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

A family transition

Philippe Marcovich, an emblematic figure at Sicomin, will remain involved in the company as President. At the same time, he will focus on two innovative projects, ACCWING and MAXCORE, in collaboration with his youngest son, Sam Marcovich. These initiatives will be unveiled at the forthcoming JEC World 2025 show, confirming the Marcovich family's commitment to exploring the new frontiers of composite materials.

Ken Marcovich, already known for his achievements in the expansion of Map Yachting, brings unique expertise in sustainability and environmental science. His commitment to bio-sourced materials, a pillar of Sicomin's strategy, will be instrumental in meeting the market's growing demands for performance and eco-responsibility.

A forward-looking vision

In a statement, Ken Marcovich expressed his pride and determination to carry on the family legacy:
"I'm honored to take on this role and continue building on the legacy created by my father. Sicomin is uniquely placed to drive innovation and meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance solutions in epoxy resins and composites. "

With a talented team and a clear vision, Sicomin is positioned to accelerate its growth while reinforcing its role as a leader in sustainable composite materials.
