Strong growth in sales
Oyster Yachts is forecasting a record year in 2025, in line with its financial results for 2024. In that year, sales jumped 26% to £61.7 million, while operating losses were reduced to £12.4 million from £17.3 million the previous year. The injection of £4.65 million by owner Richard Hadida also helped turn around the accounts.
For 2025, the brand has already sold 16 yachts, and this figure could rise further before March 31, the end of the fiscal year. Recent sales include an Oyster 885 SII, the flagship of the range, and an Oyster 675, underlining the continuing appeal of blue water cruisers, despite the bankruptcy suffered by the yard in 2018.
The success of the Oyster 595
The Oyster 595 model dominated sales this year. This 18.30-meter cruiser, designed to be easily maneuvered by its owner, is particularly popular with long-distance sailors. To meet this demand, Oyster has invested in a second mold, increasing production and satisfying the many fans of this yacht designed for adventures to the ends of the earth.
Oyster's production yards, located in the south and east of England, are now operating at full capacity, with 25 yachts under construction and a full order book up to 2027.
The key role of the Oyster World Rally
The growing popularity of the Oyster World Rally, a worldwide circumnavigation organized by the brand, also contributes to this dynamic. A significant number of orders for new yachts come from buyers wishing to take part in this exclusive event. The next edition, scheduled for 2028-2029, is already generating strong interest, with orders specifically linked to this project.
A strategy based on an elitist market
With a full order book for the next three years and emblematic models such as the Oyster 595 and the 885 SII, Oyster Yachts has established itself as a key player in the luxury blue-water yacht market. By combining innovation, build quality and customer experience, the brand pursues its mission: to enable sailors to evolve in optimal conditions of comfort and safety.
With 2025 already shaping up to be a historic year, Oyster Yachts continues to capitalize on its heritage and reputation to attract a premium clientele.
