Training for the nautical professions
Since January 2025, the INB has been accessible via Parcoursup, simplifying access to its sandwich course. The "Technico-Commercial de l'Industrie et des Services Nautiques" program has been designed in collaboration with professionals to ensure a perfect match with market expectations.
Briag Merlet, coordinator of technical sales training courses, tells us more about this course:
The arrival of the INB on Parcoursup gives us both greater visibility and additional recognition for this sandwich course.
The training includes several areas of expertise:
- Economics: management, marketing, sales and negotiation techniques, English and business creation.
- Techniques: marine mechanics, electricity, composite materials, rigging.
- Nautical: coastal and offshore navigation, meteorology and use of electronic tools.
In two years, it leads to a Bac+2 diploma, recognized by the State and the nautical sector.
A wide range of concrete job opportunities
Students trained at INB are destined for a wide range of careers: technical sales representative, rental agency manager, export executive or business unit manager in companies of all sizes. Work-study programs, which account for 70% of training time, enable students to immerse themselves directly in professional realities and gain valuable experience.
