A unique event at the heart of the Bavaria factory
Rather than attending the Boot Düsseldorf 2025, Bavaria Yachtbau has chosen to present its range directly at its factory in Giebelstadt, Bavaria. This event, organized in collaboration with its dealer network, promises an immersive experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the brand's sailboats and powerboats, while going behind the scenes of their manufacture.
On site, yachtsmen can not only talk to Bavaria's engineers and designers, but also visit the shipyard's production line, renowned for its engineering expertise and cutting-edge industrial processes.
New highlights for sailboats and powerboats
Among the models on display, the Bavaria Vida, a 10-meter daycruiser, is getting a facelift. While its general lines remain unchanged, several improvements have been made:
- A new cockpit layout for enhanced comfort.
- Enlarged bunks (2 m x 2.23 m) provide more generous sleeping space.
- A mobile bathing platform reworked for improved ergonomics.
- Enhanced motorization with Suzuki outboard motors up to 2 x 300 HP.
Sailboats optimized for charters
On the sailboat side, the Bavaria C46 makes its appearance with a hardtop option, offering increased protection against the sun in the Mediterranean or the rain in northern European waters. This choice, eagerly awaited by charterers and long-distance cruisers, comes at an additional cost of around ?30,000 compared with the open version.
A change in motorboat designations
Bavaria is adjusting the designations of its SR-Line range to better reflect the actual lengths of the models:
- The Bavaria SR 33 becomes the SR 35.
- The Bavaria SR 36 is now the SR 38.
These changes are accompanied by minor aesthetic updates, such as a flatter windshield for a modernized design.
Strategic positioning for Bavaria
Founded in 1978, Bavaria Yachtbau has become Germany's largest shipyard. Exporting 85% of its production, the 70,000 m² site produces sailboats and motorboats of world-renowned quality.
After a slowdown in the market in 2024, the site is counting on this event to boost sales momentum.
"We want to offer boaters a unique experience, allowing them to discover our models in the best possible conditions." explains Michael Böhm, Marketing Director.
Registration and practical information
The event, to be held from January 31 to February 2, 2025, is accessible by registration via the official Bavaria Yachtbau website. Selected models can also be viewed at partner dealers worldwide.
