Cannes: modernizing the Old Port and promoting the fishing industry
On the Old Port of Cannes, the first phase of modernization was completed with the construction of a Fishermen's Village. The purpose of this space is to promote local fishing and open the site to the public. The second phase, scheduled for 2024, will involve extending the Albert-Edouard pier and developing the Laubeuf sector, including a 4,500 m² panoramic garden. These projects, estimated at 56.2 million euros, will enhance the port's appeal while meeting the needs of professionals and pleasure boaters alike.
