Hunyvers continues its expansion with the acquisition of the Arcachon basin shipyards

Hunyvers, a specialist in leisure vehicles, has finalized the acquisition of Chantiers navals du bassin d'Arcachon. This strategic acquisition, the fifth in the marine sector since 2020, consolidates the group's position in a fast-growing sector, which now accounts for 20% of its total activity.

A coherent expansion strategy

Since 2020, Hunyvers, based in Haute-Vienne, has been diversifying its activities by investing in the nautical sector. With the acquisition of Chantiers navals du bassin d'Arcachon (CNBA), the company, historically focused on itinerant tourism, adds a fifth nautical acquisition to its portfolio after Groupe Nautic, Marine Plaisance, LBC Nautic and Pneumarine Services.

Chantiers navals du bassin d'Arcachon, a key player

Founded in 2003 by Laurent Rambla, CNBA has become a pillar of the Arcachon basin nautical industry. It comprises three entities (Arcachon Nautic, Ander Nautic and Biscarrosse Nautic) and represents prestigious brands such as Jeanneau, White Shark, Nuova Jolly and Yamaha. Its expertise covers the sale, maintenance and wintering of boats, with 800 units serviced each year.

In 2024, the CNBAs generated sales of 10 million euros with 30 employees, contributing to Hunyvers' ambitious goal of reaching consolidated sales of 150 million euros by the end of August 2025.

A buoyant market for the Group

Boating, a growth sector during the Covid crisis, has become a strategic focus for Hunyvers. More than 20% of sales now come from this activity, compared with 13% the previous year. The integration of CNBA also strengthens Hunyvers' presence in the Arcachon basin, where the group has seven concessions.
