GN Espace Gourmet: a stove designed for low-heel boats
Designed for powerboats, catamarans and other units not requiring gimbals, the Gourmet range has a contemporary look. With its glossy glass finish, it blends perfectly with modern interiors, while facilitating cleaning. This technical choice targets stable craft, eliminating the constraints associated with heeling movements typical of sailing boats.
Two main models are available: the Gourmet 500 and the Gourmet 450, each designed to suit different kitchen sizes, while optimizing available space.
Energy savings and electric cooking on board
Energy consumption is a crucial issue for all electric marine equipment. GN Espace claims a 25-30% reduction in electricity consumption compared to conventional domestic appliances. This energy efficiency is essential to limit the impact on boat batteries, and to meet the needs of sailors who often operate off-grid.
The Gourmet 500 features a three-zone induction hob and a 30-liter multifunction oven, while the Gourmet 450 offers two cooking zones and a 23-liter oven. These features allow cooking flexibility without sacrificing performance, even in small kitchens.
Durable materials for marine use
GN Espace uses marine-grade stainless steel for its units, guaranteeing their durability in the face of salty environments and the demanding conditions of life on board. At the same time, rotary controls simplify operation, meeting ergonomic constraints in a confined space.
A response to new boating trends
The growing adoption of electric motors and the demand for more sustainable boating solutions are boosting interest in low-energy cooking equipment. GN Espace is part of this dynamic, offering appliances adapted to more environmentally-friendly navigation.
Their presence at METSTRADE 2024 underlines their determination to address an international market, in line with the expectations of shipyards and shipowners looking for modern solutions to equip their vessels.
