The Pabouk shipyard, under the management of Olivier Debonte, is now concentrating on the production of two flagship models: the Pabouk Love and the Pabouk 700. The first demonstration boat for the Pabouk 700 has just been taken out of the mould, marking a crucial step in the yard's relaunch. According to Debonte, the aim is to understand each stage of production, while documenting the process to ensure consistent quality.

With a target of ten Pabouk Love units per year, Debonte remains aware of production constraints. "One or two Pabouk 700s a year will do, but no more," he confides. The priority is to guarantee boats that are true to the Pabouk spirit: easy-to-handle units, ideal for yachtsmen looking for simplicity and pleasure.

A passionate builder: turning professional

Olivier Debonte is no stranger to the Pabouk world. A "pabouker" himself, he shares a passion for practical, accessible boats. A building contractor, he decided to take a turn in his career to invest in a more personal project. "I thought the concept was brilliant: you buy a boat that's easy to learn on and evolve," he explains.

This passion is not only a personal project, it is also reflected in the organization of the shipyard and the vision of the new boss. Accompanied by an experienced team and his predecessors, Patrick Bergeat and Antoine Carmichaël, Debonte ensures that every decision respects the brand's history, while helping it to evolve.

Towards a new visual identity and international markets

In parallel with production, the Pabouk Compagnie is rethinking its image. From the end of October, a new graphic charter will be unveiled, with reinforced communication on social networks. Already present on Instagram, feedback from Pabouk fans is positive, particularly from abroad.

Indeed, Olivier Debonte is thinking big for the brand. Discussions are underway to export the Pabouk to markets such as Switzerland and Germany, where interest in the concept of these small cruisers is growing.
