Visit 2019 before the health crisis, the show recorded record sales of 86,000 visitors . It was a particularly successful year, marked by strong international attendance and a large number of exhibitors. This edition is often considered a benchmark of success for the Grand Pavois.
Publishing 2020 was marked by the pandemic and saw a drastic drop in attendance, with only 35,000 visitors . Sanitary restrictions, fear of travel and global uncertainties had a heavy impact on the event. Despite this downturn, the show managed to maintain some of its activities and welcome a significant number of boats, with some 650 units on display.
Visit 2021 the show was back in the spotlight with 80,000 visitors despite residual health constraints. Exhibitors and visitors alike showed renewed interest in the event, marking an important step in the nautical sector's recovery after a complicated year. This year's event underlined the Grand Pavois' role as a key event in the industry.
Publishing 2022 confirmed this recovery with 75,000 visitors . Although slightly down on 2021, the show returned to a more normal rhythm, with strong international participation and increased business dynamism. The return of foreign visitors marked this edition as a turning point towards a return to normal for the show.
Visit 2023 attendance rose again to reach 82,000 visitors this year's edition was particularly successful, aided by favourable weather conditions and growing interest in new boating trends, notably sustainability and eco-navigation. The 2024 market in crisis
Finally, the 2024 fell sharply, with 69,000 visitors . This decrease was largely due to two days of bad weather, on Tuesday and Sunday, which affected overall attendance, and also to investor gloom in view of the national and global situation. However, many exhibitors reported a good conversion rate among prospects, particularly foreign visitors and first-time buyers. The show thus continues to play a major role in promoting the yachting industry, with broad international participation and 700 boats on display, including 300 afloat.
With an encouraging outlook for the coming months, the Grand Pavois La Rochelle has enabled us to look ahead to 2025. The next edition will be held from september 23 to 28, 2025 with some major brands already announcing their intention to increase their participation, we're looking forward to working with you.
