Sea-Doo jet-skis for lifeguards in the 2024 summer season

Sea-Doo, a BRP Inc. brand, is partnering with the Fédération Française de Sauvetage et de Secourisme (FFSS) for the summer 2024 sporting events. The collaboration aims to enhance athletes' safety with state-of-the-art jet-skis and advanced rescue equipment.

The safety of athletes during the aquatic events of the 2024 Olympic Games is a priority for Sea-Doo and the Fédération Française de Sauvetage et de Secourisme (FFSS). In 2024, this collaboration is taking shape by making Sea-Doo jet-skis and rescue equipment available for large-scale sporting events.

Sea-Doo and safety on the water

Sea-Doo provides the FFSS with jet-skis to guarantee the safety of the athletes. These vehicles will be used on the Seine in the Paris region, where a dozen jet-skis and almost 100 lifeguards will be on hand to provide surveillance and rescue services.

The use of personal watercraft by the FFSS

Since last year, the FFSS has been using Sea-Doo personal watercraft (PWCs) to ensure the safety of its aquatic events. These vehicles, initially seen as leisure craft, are proving to be indispensable tools for rapid and effective intervention on the water.

Organizers' testimonials

Kamil Belkhelladi, Project Manager for Secours Santé Grands Evénements, underlines the growing importance of personal watercraft in securing sporting events. " Organizers are gradually discovering the advantages of these machines for ensuring the safety of participants "he explains.
