The Bénéteau Group is reorganizing its Boat division around three strategic segments: Sailing, Dayboating and Real Estate on the Water. This restructuring is accompanied by key appointments to meet market and customer expectations.
Sailing: enhanced expertise for monohulls and multihulls
Clément Himily is appointed General Manager of the Sailing business (monohull and multihull). With over 15 years' experience in the industry, Clément Himily joined the Bénéteau Group in 2017. He worked to develop the Group's production site in Bordeaux, taking over as General Manager in 2020 against a backdrop of transformation and growth for the LAGOON and EXCESS brands. Previously, he held various operational management and executive positions in the food industry with Mondelez International and Danone.
The Bénéteau Group's Sailing division covers all monohull and multihull sailing yachts. Clément Himily brings solid experience in production management and strategic development, positioning the Group for continued growth and increased innovation in this key segment.
Dayboating: a dedicated offer for day cruising
Bénéteau With over 25 years' experience in a variety of international industrial environments, Yannick Madiot has in-depth knowledge of the Bénéteau Group, particularly its American subsidiary, where he was Vice-President Finance and Administration for Bénéteau USA for eight years from 2002. In 2010, he returned to France to join industrial equipment manufacturer WEIR, before rejoining Groupe Bénéteau as Director of Operations for North America between 2019 and 2021.
The Dayboating division focuses on motorboats from 6 to 12 meters in length, suitable for day boating. This category meets the growing demand for easy-to-use, versatile boats, ideal for short outings and recreational activities on the water.
Real Estate on the Water: the luxury and comfort of motoryachts
Michelangelo Casadei has been appointed General Manager of the Real Estate on the Water business (motoryachts from 12 to 24 meters). He joins the Bénéteau Group after more than twenty years' experience in the automotive and marine industries. Michelangelo Casadei managed the Finnish factory and operations of the Nautor Swan Group between 2021 and 2024. Previously, he worked for the Ferretti Group from 2008 to 2021 as Quality Director and then Engineering Director.
The Real Estate on the Water division is dedicated to motoryachts from 12 to 24 meters, combining luxury, comfort and performance. Michelangelo Casadei, with his expertise in production management and engineering, is well placed to strengthen Groupe Bénéteau's motoryacht offering, meeting the expectations of the most demanding customers.
