Esprit Sud within the Euro Voiles group: "Technical and commercial synergies"

The Esprit Sud boatyard in La Seyne-sur-Mer joins the Euro Voiles group. A merger that brings technical synergies for yachtsmen and strengthens the commercial capabilities of both partners, explains Bastien Infante, head of Euro Voiles.

Esprit Sud and Euro Voiles join forces

The Euro Voiles group has announced that it has been joined by Esprit Sud. Based in Hyères and La Seyne-sur-Mer respectively, these two players in the Var yachting industry are joining forces to serve their customers in the motorboat, sailing and multihull sectors.

Complementary geography and infrastructure

While the two yards are not far apart as the crow flies, they can be in terms of road access. With their partnership, they offer their customers a local service with complementary technical skills and material resources, as Bastien Infante, manager of Euro Voiles, points out: "Esprit Sud has a fine facility at Toulon La Seyne-sur-Mer. This enables us to offer a technical solution in winter to large boats that can't leave our premises. With its skills in laminating, carpentry and electronics, its cranes and carts, and its reputation in Mediterranean cruising races, Esprit Sud offers technical expertise and proximity to the water. And we'll also be able to benefit from synergies in terms of personnel on loan or purchasing, for example."

Expanding the range of boats for sale

In addition to collaboration in the core shipyard business, the association also extends the partners' commercial offering. Esprit Sud, which remains a distributor for J Composites in the Mediterranean and for 3D-Tender, will now be a Lagoon Catamarans agent in Toulon harbor, where Euro Voiles has the multihull brand's card.

The interest is not limited to new boats," Bastien Infante concludes: "Second-hand is very important, accounting for half of our sales, which can be driven by the two shipyards."
