Catherine Pourre elected to head Bénéteau Group Board of Directors
Following its latest Annual General Meeting, the Bénéteau Group's Board of Directors has renewed its executive committee. Catherine Pourre was elected Chairman, replacing Yves Lyon Caen, while Louis-Claude Roux continues to represent the founder's family as Vice-Chairman.
Taking over from Yves Lyon Caen, an enarque with close ties to the Roux family, who headed the French Nautical Industries Federation for 8 years and has held key roles within the Bénéteau Group for the past 20 years, Catherine Pourre has already been a member of the Vendée-based yachting leader's governing bodies since 2014. In particular, she retains the chairmanship of the Audit and Risks Committee, while Louis-Claude Roux chairs the Strategy Committee, Sébastien Moynot, the CSR Committee and Marie-Hélène Dick, the Compensation, Appointments and Governance Committee.
A chartered accountant accustomed to board meetings
A qualified chartered accountant, Catherine Pourre also has a degree from ESSEC and a law degree from the Catholic University of Paris.
After starting out with the consulting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she remained a partner between 1989 and 1999, Catherine Pourre became Executive Director of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from 1999 to 2022, then Deputy Managing Director of the Unibail Rodamco Group, in charge of Finance and Central Functions, before joining the Management Board in 2007.
Now a member of the Board of Directors of SEB SA, she remains on the Supervisory Board of Unibail Roadamco Westfield NV.
