Hanse Yachts officially quits the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

On March 1, 2024, German yacht and motorboat builder Hanse Yachts announced its intention to leave the financial markets, with majority shareholder Aurelius acquiring the remaining shares on the market. On May 14, 2024, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange formally accepted Hanse Yachts' request, resulting in the definitive suspension of trading on May 17, 2024 in Frankfurt, as well as in regional markets.

The Bénéteau Group expands its Seanapps offering

The French yachting leader continues to roll out its Seanapps monitoring and predictive maintenance solution, launched in 2019. The system, already present on 8,000 boats and at 500 dealerships, is adding 12 new sensors to track safety parameters such as hatch or porthole openings and engine anti-theft systems, as well as comfort variables such as temperature or humidity. The Bénéteau Group is aiming to have 20,000 boats equipped by 2025.

X-Shore wins European award

Swedish electric boat builder X-Shore has been awarded the EU Blue Champion title by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank for its commitment to the transition and decarbonization of the maritime world.

Cantieri di Pisa continues to expand

Italian shipyard Cantieri di Pisa is modernizing its Tuscan headquarters along the Navicelli canal in Pisa. With a budget of 6 MÂeuros since 2022, the company is investing heavily in the revival of this historic yachting brand, and will shortly occupy a surface area of over 50,000 m2, with buildings raised to 20 mètres and the construction of a new nave, in addition to new handling equipment.

Yanmar joins forces with Aspen Power Catamarans

Japanese engine manufacturer Yanmar announces the signing of an agreement with Aspen Power Catamarans. It will supply two Yanmar 4LV250 engines for the new C100 multihull.

Balance Catamarans installs Integrel's E-Drive

South African multihull specialist Balance Catamarans is the first shipyard to install the E-Drive power generation and propulsion system developed by British manufacturer Integrel. Offering 30 kW of energy production and a motorization capacity of 40 hp, the system is now included in the shipyard's catalog for its various models.
