Transmission within the Federation of Nautical Industries in the South of France
In France, the Nautical Industries Federation announces the arrival of a new mission manager for the South and Corsica region. Emmanuelle Peloux joins FIN to succeed Eriic Mabo, who is due to retire before summer 2024. During her 15 years with the CCI Nice Côte d'Azur, she has specialized in maritime and nautical issues.
Amandine Luce joins Spindrift Racing
Amandine Luce, who has worked for a number of yachting companies including Adrena and OC Sport, joined Tip and Shaft in July 2021 as digital marketing manager. She has been responsible for Spindrift Racing's communications since April 2024.
New Nautix sales representative in Pays de la Loire Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Julien Rocher joins Nautic as a marine paint and windsurf salesman for the Breton manufacturer. In charge of the Pays de la Loire and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions, he was previously responsible for Gwen Marine in La Rochelle.
New leader for Venture Boat Group
Brunswick Group subsidiary Venture Boat Group, which brings together the Bayliner, Heyday, Quicksilver and Uttern brands in North America, Europe and Australia, has a new president. Jerry Newton, who has 30 years' experience in the industry, notably with John Deere, is responsible for continuing the brands' international development.
New General Manager at Smartgyro
Italian stabilizer specialist Smartgyro has a new CEO. The Yanmar Group subsidiary welcomed Carlo Galli Tognota as Managing Director at the beginning of April 2024. After 20 years' experience in the marine sector with shipyards and engine manufacturers such as Sealine Italia and Cummins, he has spent the last 11 years with Twin Disc for the EMEA market. He succeeds Marcel Borsboom, the Group's Director of Onboard Systems, who has been directly managing Smartgyro since its integration into Yanmar in 2020.
Changes at the helm of Sanlorenzo
Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has confirmed a major management reshuffle. Ferruccio Rossi will step down as executive director of the Italian yacht builder on April 30, 2024, before gradually relinquishing his duties until the end of October. A non-competition agreement has been signed until April 30, 2025.
