Sharing and disseminating nautical knowledge
The various partners highlighted the need for cutting-edge technical knowledge to ride the green wave in the yachting sector, particularly in the sourcing, use, implementation and end-of-life of sustainable materials.
To this end, various areas of work are being addressed to identify and disseminate knowledge within the economic fabric of the European boating industry, around 4 main pillars:
- Identify skills gaps in the industry.
- Development of a specific nautical curriculum around sustainable composite materials
- Creation of an internship program for post-graduate students focusing on the application of "deep tech" and sustainable materials skills in business.
- Raising the awareness of future nautical workers and entrepreneurs with students to develop sustainable shipbuilding.
