Changes at the Grand Pavois
While the presidency of the Grand Pavois Organisation association remains unchanged, with Alain Pochon still at the helm, the board of directors has been slightly renewed, with the departure of Paolo Serio from Dream Yachts Charter in favor of Maurice Duranthon for Mercury Marine. The main changes concern the show's operational team. Anaïs Lheureux, who joined GPO in 2018, in charge of partnerships and public relations, becomes the show's General Commissioner. She replaces Christophe Vieux, head of Grand Pavois since 1992, who is retiring.
Departure of Alliance Marine BtoC's deputy general manager
Fabienne Guérin left the Alliance Marine group on January 1, 2024. After 16 years with the yachting equipment specialist, the last 2 of which as deputy general manager of the BtoC division, she is leaving the nautical sector for the building industry.
A new marketing director for Seair
Seair has a new marketing manager. Jordan Ferreira, joined the foil specialist in December 2023 to work on its image, after nearly 8 years as sales and logistics manager for the Monaco Yacht Show.
BRP revises its organizational structure
BRP, Canada's leading outdoor sports group, with its Seadoo personal watercraft and several motorboat brands, is reorganizing its corporate governance. The marine and power sports groups are now under the management of Sandy Scullion. Patrick Dussault is in charge of production, while Bernard Guy, who has headed the Marine group since 2023, becomes vice-president in charge of product strategy for marine and motor sports.
New Torqeedo sales representative for France
Nicolas Charron has joined electric motor manufacturer Torqeedo as Sales Manager for the French market, succeeding Erwan Grandpierre. He was previously sales director for wind energy at Defontaine Rollix.
Yann Elies at the helm of TourVoile
Yann Elies has been appointed Race Director of the TourVoile. He will lead the 2nd edition of the new version of the summer race aboard Figaro 3 boats.
