Sailmon taken over by North Technology

Dutch marine electronics specialist Sailmon has been acquired by the North Technology Group. The parent company of North Sails, Southern Spars and Future Fibres, the American group is expanding its portfolio to provide sailing enthusiasts with an increasingly complete system.

Highfield still in the race

The Highfield RIB brand continues its strategy of supporting sailing events. It is now the technical partner of the Barcolana, Europe's biggest all-class race, whose 2023 edition was held in Trieste on October 8.

MaxSea wins NMEA award

Software publisher MaxSea has won the title of Best Marine Navigation Software for its TZ Professional software. This is the brand's 7th consecutive award from the leading marine electronics association.
