An investor for Dromeas Yachts

Turkish boat builder Dromeas Yachts has announced the arrival of a new investor in its capital. The subsidiary of DRM Advanced Composites, which produces motorboats, now has the financial backing of the British fund Lotus Investment Group. It intends to develop new models, from less than 28 to more than 40 feet.

Aqua superPower expands into Spain

Electric boat charging station operator Aqua superPower is expanding its network. The company has announced a second fast charging station in Barcelona at Marina Vela, following the one in La Rapita on the Catalan coast.

Fountaine-Pajot invests in its US distribution

The Fountaine-Pajot Group has acquired a stake in its U.S. distributor, Atlantic Cruising Yachts. The Charente-based manufacturer has taken a majority stake in the company, which distributes its brands on the American market from its bases in Maryland, Florida and Texas, with the aim of pursuing its growth and service strategy.

Mercury Marine awarded

Mercury Marine has been recognized with four International Forum Design awards for its AvatorÂtm 7.5e electric outboard motor, V10 Verado® outboard and V12 Verado® outboard. All three outboards were recognized in the Automotive-Vehicle category, and Avator was also honored in the Product Interfaces category for its integrated, remote display.

Arcona Group acquires SailYard AB

Arcona Yachts is strengthening its position and its industrial organization. Its shareholder has announced the acquisition of another Swedish shipyard, SailYard in Uddevalla. The two shipyards have been working together for several years on the Arcona 435 and Arcona 50 models. Through this acquisition, Arcona Group will be able to offer a wide range of services, from construction to maintenance and winterization.
