An organizer for the Tour Voile 2023

Announced at the Nautic 2022, the Tour Voile, back in 2023, now has an official organizer. The event, whose name and event management had been delegated by the owner to the FFVoile, needed an operational organizer. Ultim Sailing will manage the next 3 editions, the first of which, in Figaro 3, will be partly based on the Tour de Bretagne.

BRP builds a new plant

BRP Group is opening a new plant in Mexico. The boat-building site, in Chihuahua, will produce Manitou and Alumacraft brand units. It represents an investment of $165 million and will employ 1,300 people.

Bluegame is leading 2 projects around hydrogen

The Italian brand Bluegame will launch a hydrogen-powered flying boat as a chase boat for the American America's Cup challenge in the summer of 2023. From this model, named BGH, should come in 2025 the BGM65HH, a hybrid boat developed in partnership with Volvo Penta, combining hydrogen fuel cell and hybrid IPS system.

Mer Invest increases its capital

The investment fund Mer Invest, which finances innovative companies in the professional and recreational maritime field, is increasing its capital. Backed by Banque Populaire Grand Ouest, the structure launched in 2018 with 10 Meuros is endowed with an additional 5 Meuros to support VSEs and SMEs.

Rolls-Royce and Sunseeker extend their partnership

British yacht builder Sunseeker has renewed its partnership with engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce until 2025. The brand's yachts will continue to be equipped with engines from the MTU Series 2,000 range.
