Sale of Bigship to Vincent Zaleman
Number 3 in the network of hardware stores in France, Bigship is undergoing a major change. The company changed hands at the beginning of 2023. Emmanuel Supiot and his company Admau sold 100% of the shares to Vincent Zaleman's company Convergence. Zaleman, who currently runs two stores of the rival franchise Accastillage Diffusion in Nantes and Paris, thus takes over the management and full ownership of the Bigship center.
Moving on to new projects
For Emmanuel Supiot, the decision to sell the company comes at a time when he wants to be more involved in other projects in the nautical industry, as he is a partner in the electronics company Madintec and in the management software publisher Decisoft, dedicated to nautical companies. " I had been with Bigship for almost 30 years. It was a great adventure. I have a lot of other activities on the side and need to free up some time. Vincent Zaleman wanted to get involved in the problems of the plant and a project that suits me well, with common values. For the stores and the end customer, this is the best project. I would not have been comfortable selling Bigship to a large group that would have only wanted to take market share. He is someone who knows the business well. "
