A guide to the nautical sector in the Pays de la Loire
The Nautihub network was born in 2020 to federate the actors of the yachting industry in the Pays de la Loire region. Led by the CCI and supported by local authorities, this cluster has just published a guide to the nautical industry in the Pays de la Loire region. This 34-page document, available for free download, lists all the companies in the nautical industries, classified according to their activities, industrial in the production of boats or equipment, services in the sale of equipment, boats and services, in nautical tourism and boating.
It includes key figures for the second largest French economic ecosystem in the nautical sector, with 500 companies in the industry, providing 8,000 jobs and 14,000 berths.
Identify the challenges of the sector
For each of the major categories, a list of companies in the territory is added to a description of the main issues and challenges faced by these professions in 2022 and envisaged for 2023. The issues of recruitment and supply, but also customer relationship management, in a context of declining satisfaction of boaters identified by Nautihub. Digitalization and new services are also on the menu.
Useful data for the yachting industry
We can congratulate ourselves for the free availability of such information. Laurent Seigner, responsible for Nautihub, specifies that this will be a long term project: "As we worked, we collected data and information on the various people we dealt with. We thought it would be interesting to publish it and make it available to interested people. This should be updated annually."
