Giving Navico Group visibility in Europe
Already partners in the distribution of certain products, the Alliance Marine Group and the Brunswick Group's equipment manufacturer, Navico Group, have signed a strengthened agreement for the EMEA zone. Yann Bouctot, Director of Operations for the Alliance Marine Group, is pleased with the success of a discussion that began several months ago. "We had already been working for more than 20 years through our subsidiaries with some of the brands that are now part of the Navico Group. The latter had noted that the market share and visibility of its brands were low in Europe compared to its presence in the original equipment market. He wanted to find a global partner for the EMEA region and the discussion was a natural one given our geographical footprint. So we are going to work together on the aftermarket offer, whether it is for maintenance sites or retail."
A tailor-made agreement
The new agreement, concluded for a first year, but with a long term vision, has been concluded without calling into question the already existing and efficient partnerships outside the Alliance Marine group. Navico Group has also announced the opening of the Blue Sea Systems brand to Tecmar for France. Yann Bouctot insists on the attention given to this organization: "We have defined it country by country, entity by entity and product by product to choose the best strategies. For example, there is a lot of work to be done in Italy on the Blue Sea brand, for which we will be able to rely on our subsidiary FNI. The Mastervolt and Whale brands are very important. We will also let Navico Group benefit from our ongoing digitalization efforts, which will give visibility to the products and allow us to better address small customers."
Bringing the investment strength of Alliance Marine
In the aftermarket, the potential for investment and technical advice is essential. The Alliance Marine Group is banking on its capabilities in this area, as the operations manager explains in conclusion: "We'll be able to build on existing teams by strengthening technical training and our logistics capabilities. We'll also be doing a lot of stockpiling, which is critical, especially at this time."
