Dream Yacht takes over Aqualodge to develop floating accommodation

Dream Yacht has announced the acquisition of the charter company Antilles Sails and its Aqualodge concept. This is another step in its positioning in the growing market of floating leisure accommodation.

Dream Yacht takes over the Aqualodge

The yacht charter specialist Dream Yacht has announced the acquisition of catamaran charter company Antilles Sails. The multihull fleet will join that of Dream Yacht Charter in the Caribbean, but it is also the Aqualodge concept that interested Dream Yacht. It is taking over the 5 floating homes for rent in Guadeloupe, and the Aqualodge concept launched by Antilles Sails in the Caribbean island. Dream Yacht now owns the rights to the name and the technical know-how related to the development of these floating homes, each with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a dry toilet.

Aqualodge in the Caribbean and beyond

Dream Yacht does not hide its ambition to develop the concept, seeing in floating accommodation a complementary and promising diversification to the rental of real sailing boats. The company had already sealed an agreement with Antilles Sails to operate 5 Aqualodge in Martinique, in Sainte-Anne, since 2021. It will soon offer some in Saint-Martin, but should quickly extend its offer beyond the Caribbean Sea.

Dream Yacht's General Manager, Loïc Bonnet explains: "Our goal is to make people discover the most beautiful places in the world from the sea with those we love while being respectful of the environment. To discover, to marvel, to spend unforgettable moments and to leave without leaving any trace, this is the ambition we share with our clients."

The clientele is varied, says Alice Russeil of Dream Yacht. "There is a local clientele of people who come for a few days, even during the week, as well as people who rent before or after their cruise to get their foot in the door smoothly. We've had inquiries about other destinations."

Dream Yacht should be able to offer the same mix to its clients both in the Mediterranean and in more distant destinations such as the Seychelles where the brand is well established.
