Growth in Q3 2022
The Vendéan leader in yachting has released its results for the 3rd quarter of 2022. Overall revenues reached 317.1 million euros, up 19.9%, with the housing business particularly dynamic. The Boat Division reported a 17.7% increase in revenues, reaching 294.2 million euros over the period.
In the first nine months of 2022, the Boat Division posted revenues of 842.4 million euros, up 7.5%.
A very dynamic American yachting industry
The strong growth in the third quarter is explained by two phenomena. The U.S. market, particularly in the dayboating segment, which includes powerboats under 40 feet, is proving very dynamic. Growth in the USA over the period to 2022 is +30%, at constant exchange rates.
In Europe and the rest of the world, growth was +17%. The Bénéteau Group stresses that tensions on supplies have stabilized, without disappearing. Some of the boat deliveries delayed at the start of the year were able to take place during the summer of 2022.
Annual outlook maintained
Bénéteau's management maintains its growth forecasts for fiscal year 2022. It expects annual growth of +13% to +16% in published figures and current operating income of between 120 million euros and 125 million euros, i.e. growth of more than 25% compared with 2021.
