Open the subscription to high-end yachting
U-Boat Investment, a Luxembourg company headed by Anthony Brisacq, has announced the launch of its first Neoyot agency. This agency launches its concept of navigation by subscription in the field of high-end yachting. A service in the air of time according to the director. "It's at the heart of consumerism in all areas. We buy a Porsche or an iPhone like this. So we're going to start applying it to yachts from 12 to 24 meters, and eventually to yachts over 24 meters."
The offer is also present on smaller boats and in a slightly different way in the boat clubs.
A profitable model for boaters
Each boat is assigned to a maximum of 6 subscribers. It has a crew enrolled for the year for pleasure boating. Via an application and a shared calendar, the subscriber can book his sailing, even at the last minute.
There are 2 operating models, for boaters or investors, on boats around 1 Meuros TTC
In the first one, a buyer decides to use Neoyot to graft 4 subscribers on his boat. Where a single subscriber benefits from 3 or 4 navigation tokens lasting one day, the owner, who makes the contribution, has double the time. The formula is beneficial for the shipyards and the customers, explains Anthony Brisacq: "This can make it easier for dealers to sell boats and for the customer, it can be as much as 85% off compared to buying after one year."
In the second case, the boat is bought by a pure investor. Neoyot guarantees a return of 15 to 23%. After 36 months, the boat is resold, guaranteed by Neoyot.
Anthony Brisacq illustrates the gain with some figures: "For a Fiart 43, you need to count 4,500 euros per month all inclusive with the port and the captain, while the purchase only credit amounts to 14,000 euros to which you must add the operation. While the sailing time remains about the same."
Increase in power in 2023
The first agency was opened in Nice by Matteo Brisacq, son of the director, in partnership with the dealer Aquila Yachting and the shipyards Fiart and Apreamare. Neoyot plans to open other agencies and to have 10 boats on subscription by the summer of 2023.
