Investment funds at the helm of Quick
The Italian company Quick has seen its capital evolve. The Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR and Armònia SGR have taken a majority stake in the company, which specializes in the production of fittings and equipment for pleasure boats. These two investment funds support the Marzucco family, which founded the company in 1983. Its members will nevertheless remain at the head of the company.
Increase international presence
Quick has its own factory in Italy, near Ravenna, and sells its products internationally. The brand is well known for its windlasses, bow thrusters and water heaters, as well as for its lighting systems and onboard electrical components. Its range of Quick Gyro anti-roll systems has given the company good growth in recent years, and the company now intends to build on this.
It already has a subsidiary in the United States and the United Kingdom. Quick employs approximately 270 people worldwide. Its closing forecast for the year 2022 is for a turnover of more than 65 million euros.
Michele Marzucco is excited about the prospects ahead: "The entry of the Fondo Italiano d'Investimento and Armònia in Quick's capital represents an important step in our growth path. We are convinced that we have found a strategic partner that can help us become more and more a point of reference for the global maritime industry by espousing the values that have accompanied us until now: continuous innovation, capillary assistance, proximity to the customer and respect for our employees."
