Supporting the electrification of the maritime and recreational sectors
A fundamental movement is underway in the marine sector. Already well underway in the professional sector, the arrival of electric propulsion engines and hybrid systems is gaining momentum in the yachting field as well, and the various engine manufacturers are regularly releasing new products. In this context, the Electric and Hybrid Marine World Expo, launched in 2014, has a good track record of being a reference show in the field.
Like many events, it is making a comeback in 2022, after 2 cancelled editions. The 2022 edition will feature more than 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, say the organizers. A paying conference program will bring together more than 100 experts to discuss the current challenges of ship electrification.
What's new in electric boats
The variety of exhibitors and speakers of the technical conferences will allow to scan the whole of the current events of the suppliers of battery, fuel cell, parallel electric motors, outboards or pods. Many new products will be exhibited such as the e-drive motors from Vetus, the new electric inboard H100 from ePropulsion, the 100 kW pod from Fischer Panda...
Through case studies and round tables, the conferences will focus on technical and regulatory issues affecting the electric boat industry.
Electric and Hybrid Marine Award
As in every edition, the Electric and Hybrid Marine Award will be the occasion to reward the actors of the maritime sector for their actions in the electrification of boats. Naval architects, engineers and suppliers will be rewarded in the following categories
- Supplier of the year
- Engineering Team of the Year
- Innovation of the year
- Propulsion System Manufacturer of the Year
- Electric and Hybrid Drive System of the Year
