Tiwal's sales increase with its inflatable dinghies that can be stored in 2 bags

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Tiwal is announcing a great commercial success with an increase in turnover and sales, particularly in export markets. A great success based on an innovative product.

Tiwal imagined a product that did not exist. In 2012, Marion Excoffon developed an inflatable sailboat that can be stored in 2 bags. 10 years later, the company announced the delivery of its 2000th boat. A great success that is partly due to its global development.

10 years to develop

Tiwal is celebrating its 10th anniversary. 10 years to develop and perfect a 3.20 m long inflatable sailboat. It was a daring gamble and today the company based in Plescop (56) has 12 employees who ship dinghies to more than 50 countries. The last one, number 2000, was delivered in Italy.

Tiwal has been awarded numerous international prizes. Proof if it were needed of the good idea of this totally atypical product.

A high-end positioning

when you look at the Tiwal, you might think that it is a simple and fun product, and therefore not very expensive. But its selling price, starting at 5,600 euros, deliberately places it as a high-end product. A positioning that pays off since the company closed the year 2021 with 20% growth, exceeding 2Meuros in sales. This success is mainly due to exports (75% of the turnover) with the main markets being the United States, France and Germany.

To extend the range, Tiwal is launching a new model in 2022 to offer a range of 3 models. The Tiwal 2L (a family model) accommodates up to 2 adults (5,850 euros).
