Windy Boats signs with Yamaha

Japanese engine manufacturer Yamaha has signed an OEM partnership with the Norwegian shipyard Windy Boats. In a five-year partnership, Yamaha Motor Europe and Windy Boats will work together to provide OEM outboard engines for various boats. The SR44 luxury tender will be available with the 425 hp V8 XTO outboard engine. Windy Boat's SR28 CC will be offered with a variety of Yamaha outboard engines, including the latest 300 hp V6.

JPK Composites rewarded for the health of its employees

The JPK Composites shipyard was awarded the Inn Situ prize by Carsat Bretagne. This award is in recognition of the improvements made to replace rolling scaffolding with secure platforms for better safety and comfort for employees working on the boats.

La Ciotat, the boat elevator takes shape

On March 8, 2022, the French company Matière and the American group Bardex positioned the lifting platform of the future 4,300-ton boat elevator on its final location in La Ciotat. Nine months of work were required. It will be installed above the 11-meter deep elevator pit. Overall delivery is expected in September 2022.

Tecmar awarded by the Brunswick Group

Marine equipment distributor Tecmar has been recognized by Advanced Systems Group (ASG), the equipment arm of the Brunswick Group. It has been named an ASG Gold distributor in recognition of its performance in distributing Mastervolt, Whale, Attwood, BEP, Marinco and ProMariner brands.

CosmétiBoat extends its network

The boat washing and maintenance franchise CosmétiBoat announces the opening of 3 new representatives in the Mediterranean and Atlantic regions, in Bandol (83), La Baule (44) and Marseille (13). They are respectively opened by Fabien Delecourt, Jérôme Douet and Jonathan Bourgine.
