Creation of the Silent Group
The Silent Yachts shipyard, launched in 2009, is one of the first to have built solar-powered electric pleasure boats. It is now taking a new step by creating the Silent Group structure, which oversees all its activities through 7 divisions:
- Silent Yachts : builder of the 100% electric solar catamarans in the catalog, from 60 to 120 feet
- Silent Tenders: a catalog of high-end tenders
- Silent Management: offering administrative services for flag management, crew and vessel maintenance
- Silent Charter: offer of electro-solar catamarans in charter from Majorca and all over the world
- Silent Brokerage: used boat sales service
- Silent Resorts: upscale beachfront residences with solar installations
- Silent Shop : sale of toys and electrical accessories
Accelerate boat production at 3 sites worldwide
2021 was a record year for Silent Yachts, with 21 boats sold. 17 catamarans are currently in production, including 8 Silent 60s, 6 Silent 80s, two Silent VisionF 82s and the first Silent 120.
To achieve this, the Austrian company relies on three shipyards around the world. The historic Italian shipyard in Fano on the Adriatic Sea, with a surface area of 22,000 m², builds the Silent 60 and Silent 80. A Thai shipyard in Rayong, owned by the Swiss company PMG Shipyard, is also working on the Silent 60. Finally, through a new partnership, Silent Yachts has launched the Silent VisionF 85 with the Turkish VisionF Yachts. The agreement, which also covers the construction of the Silent 60, 80 and 100, provides access to new manpower resources, as well as 100,000 square meters of production space.
