Boats sold according to plan
After unveiling the first images of its boats at the beginning of 2021, the shipyard A Sea Venture Yachting (ASV), has taken advantage of the past year to unfold its business plan. The company has signed the sale of its first Seavy 11 catamarans on the occasion of the autumn boat shows. A wealthy individual took advantage of the Cannes Yachting Festival to acquire the first unit of these 11-meter dayboat multihulls dedicated to day trips. "This first Seavy 11 should hit the water in June 2022. It will then spend the summer sailing in Ibiza," says Sabrina Ettoumi, head of ASV's marketing department.
A dealer network under construction
ASV is now working to expand its network to the rest of the coast.
Recruitment and first boat sales targets
To meet its development objectives, ASV has already made several recruitments. Rolland Rabiller, who previously worked for Couach, a manufacturer of high-end motorized units, has joined the production division. In marketing, Sabrina Ettoumi has arrived from Luxottica Chanel to bring her knowledge of luxury markets. The recruitment of workers continues in all sectors of the boat building industry.
The industrial project foresees the integration of a new plant in 2023 in Canet en Roussillon. In the meantime, the manufacturer is maintaining high production targets in the temporary premises it rents. "We are aiming for the delivery of 7 boats in 2022, with a first official launch in June" concludes Sabrina Ettoumi.
