SNSM diplomas are professionally recognized

On Tuesday, December 7, the Minister of the Sea, Annick Girardin, published the decree on the recognition of lifeguard training. This new regulatory text validates the recognition of lifeguard qualifications as professional certifications. SNSM volunteers will be able to use their qualifications to enter the maritime sector as real professional skills.

Kent Marine takes over distribution of Kicker Audio Marine

The French equipment distributor Kent Marine has been appointed by Celsus UK as distributor for France of Kicker Audio products. It will market the speakers and audio products to its BtoB customers.

All Purpose gets funding for its linen sails

The sailmaker All Purpose, associated with CLM, Kaïros and the Dupuy de Lôme Research Institute of the University of South Brittany, is the winner of the CORIMER Call for Expressions of Interest for maritime innovation. The public funding will support research on recyclable and biodegradable materials for yachting, ocean racing and transport sails, following the experiments already conducted with flax.

Port Vauban certified as active in Biodiversity

The port of Vauban, in Antibes, has just acquired the "Active Clean Ports in Biodiversity" certification, in addition to the European "Clean Ports" certification obtained in 2014. It is the first port in the CCI Nice Cote d'Azur network to obtain this certification.

VogAboutMe changes its name

The historical conavigation website, created in 2010, VogAvecMoi, is renamed Vog. It intends to be more consistent with the recently launched offers in training and catamaran rental, respectively VogWeek and VogFleet.
