New stores at Uship
Uship, a franchisee of marine hardware stores, continues to expand its network in France. 3 new stores are joining the company, which now has more than 140 stores. They are Uship Strasbourg Offendorf Nautic Port on the Rhine, Uship Dieppe with the concession Bénéteau and Suzuki QG Nautic and Uship Agay Esterel Nautic in the Var.
New catamaran breakdown in Port Saint-Louis du Rhône
On November 14, the Port Saint-Louis du Rhône nautical and maritime center inaugurated its new pontoon dedicated to multihulls. With a length of 500 meters, the purlin can accommodate up to 45 catamarans. It required 7 months of work and 1.1 Meuros. The project is part of the local political will to create a center dedicated to yachting and large-scale pleasure craft, supported by the local public company in charge of port management.
Technohull expands
Greek RIB builder Technohull is strengthening its industrial capacity. It has taken delivery of its new factory in Lavrio. The investment of more than 20 million euros and the 12,000 square meter premises, with a 16,000 square meter reserve, should enable the company to continue its growth in the high-end 25 to 45 foot boat segment.
Cross-border port agreement
The Union of Port Cities of Occitania (UVPO) and the Association of Sports and Tourist Ports of South Catalonia (ACPET) sealed on Monday 29th November 2021 a partnership agreement for two years. The two entities will cooperate in several areas: the implementation of best practices for navigation in the Natural Parks and sensitive areas, the sharing of environmental experiences, the support of cross-border sporting events, a shared promotion to encourage navigation between the two regions, exchanges of information and sectoral studies
New commercial agency for ocean racing
