Recently created Nautical Group Holdings, signs the purchase of two famous brands of equipment for boating and yachting. A rapid growth that the New Zealander intends to pursue in order to make its mark in the industry.

Creation of Nautical Group Holdings

The Nautical Group Holdings (NGH) entity was recently created to bring together the famous New Zealand brand Railblaza, which is very active in the fishing sector, and the company NTD Plastics Limited, a specialist in plastic injection molding, which makes parts in particular for yachting and water sports. Ross Pratt, founder of Railblaza in 2010, who had bought NTD Plastics in 2016, becomes a minority shareholder of NGH, while keeping his operational functions there. He is joined in the capital by Nigel Jeffries and the Oriens Capital fund, which takes the majority of shares, up to 68%. A new general manager, Marc Michel, arrived on October 11, 2021, to take over the management of NGH.

Buyout of Fastmount

A few months after this structuring, NGH signed the acquisition of a new internationally recognized New Zealand nautical company. The group has completed the acquisition, on November 30, 2021, of Fastmount Ltd. Founded in 2004, the equipment manufacturer offers the entire industry fastening systems for both upholstery panels and the entire boat upholstery. Distributed worldwide, the brand is particularly active in the superyacht sector.

After these first two acquisitions, Oriens Capital, NGH's main shareholder, indicates that it remains open to other external growth operations in the maritime and yachting sectors.
