Astus Boats expands its sales network

The trimaran builder Astus Boats is expanding its sales network abroad. The Breton shipyard is now represented in Sweden by the company Höga Kusten Flyt Torbjörn Mattebo. Its multihulls will also be available in the South Pacific via Christophe Hamon's company Ocean Dream, based in La Réunion.

New rules of access to the Boot Dusseldorf

In light of the evolving Covid-19 pandemic, the Boot Dusseldorf organization has released its new access policy for the boat show scheduled to take place in Germany in January 2022. Only visitors who can show proof of a current vaccination or a certificate of recovery from the coronavirus will be allowed access to the site. The measure does not apply to children under the age of 15.

Acqua.Ecologie supported by the Occitanie Region

Acqua.Ecologie, a company specializing in water treatment, particularly for the port sector, is the winner of the call for projects Avenir Littoral 2021 from the Occitanie Region for its Acqua Smart Reuse (ASMR) project. The project benefits from the label of the Pôle Mer Méditerranée.

Deutz organizes itself to develop its alternative engines

The Deutz Group has announced a reorganization of its governance through the creation of two segments. The "classic" division will regroup its classic diesel engines, while the "green" segment will bring together its other activities related to electric engines, including its marine engine subsidiary Torqeedo and the battery company Futavis. Deutz intends to increase its visibility in the hydrogen and fuel cell engine sector.

Port Vauban targets heritage boats

The Port Vauban, in Antibes, wants to develop the fleet of resident classic boats. To do this, from January 2022, it will reserve privileged places on pontoon 17 for boats of maritime or river heritage interest - BIP - (currently valid or having applied for this label) of categories A to LM (up to 10.99m in length excluding tax).
