Charpentier Marine Morbihan becomes Woodspars
The company Charpentier Marine Morbihan, founded in 2010 by Samuel Zambaldi, changes its name. The wooden boat specialist is renamed Woodspars, to accompany the development of its business of manufacturing wooden masts and rigging elements, accelerated by the acquisition in 2019 of a wood lathe of 30 meters long.
Bigship opens in Port Leucate
The Bigship brand of fittings has a new location in the Mediterranean. The Acer Nautic shipyard, located in Port Leucate, has chosen to affiliate its hardware store with the national network for the sale of pleasure craft equipment. The Touzé brothers, at the head of the Malouin branch of the Kerboat Services boat cleaning network, have announced their retirement to devote themselves to another professional project. After 5 years of activity, they are looking for buyers to represent the franchise in the area.
Smartgyro expands
Italian boat stabilizer manufacturer Smartgyro, a member of the Yanmar Marine Group, is expanding. The company has moved to new, larger premises in La Spezia, offering more space for production and testing of equipment before installation on boats.
Bering Yacht opens a new office
The yacht brand Bering Yacht has announced the opening of a new office in Monaco. The shipyard is strengthening its presence in a growing European market with the signing of a 23-meter exploration yacht. The office complements those in Moscow and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
