Finnish heaters designed for boats
The Finnish brand Wallas, founded in 1972, has been distributed in France by ATMB Marine for over 40 years. Designed with materials adapted to the marine environment, they are specifically designed for installation on board boats. "These are not truck-derived systems. Wallas uses anodized aluminum, 316 stainless steel, which makes its heaters robust and durable on board against corrosion. The equipment is guaranteed for 3 years", insists Elie Ménard, importer of the brand in France.
A wide range of oil and diesel heaters
Wallas has a range of heaters adapted to all boats and all types of navigation. A small, compact oil-fired model meets the occasional needs of small fishing trips, while the diesel ranges, from 2200 to 4500 W, are suitable for regular sailing and units that can reach large dimensions. "They obviously work on the spot. They are very optimized in terms of sound comfort, with a variable load fan, in terms of power consumption. The electronically controlled evaporative burner system, without pressure injection, prevents any risk of explosion," explains Elie Menard.
Combi stove/heater or water heater/heater
In addition to the classic diesel heaters, Wallas offers intelligent and unique solutions on the market to make the equipment on board more profitable. The range of diesel stoves allows you to do without the installation of a gas system for the galley and with the addition of an ingenious blower cover to heat the interior of the boat. The Wallas 87D and 89D models offer a truly complete package, including a fan oven for baking bread and excellent pastries.
For some boats, especially outboard units, unable to take advantage of engine heat for hot water, Wallas offers the Viking Combi, a combined water heater and heater.
Technically and financially affordable
The simplicity of maintenance and installation will satisfy both professionals and boaters. "There's just one filter to clean. Everything is integrated into the unit, with a plug&play system. It saves time for the installer, who has no peripherals to add. The price-quality ratio is also very good" concludes the French importer.
