Olivier Bordeau takes over as head of production at Multiplast

The Vannes-based shipyard Multiplast has a new production manager. Olivier Bordeau arrived in November 2020 for a four-month replacement and since March has been officially in charge of the workshop of the Morbihan-based composites specialist. A former kayaker and then a miner, he worked in the Structures shipyard before creating his own shipyard, Latitude 48°24 in Brest. In recent years, he has worked for various ocean racing teams.

Lorient Grand Large changes its president

The board of directors of the Lorient Grand Large association, which is in charge of ocean racing events in the Morbihan port, elected its new president on March 26, 2021. Jean-Philippe Cau, former president and still treasurer of the Union Nationale de la Course au Large, succeeds Bernard Bocquet, who has been at the head of the association since its creation ten years ago.

Appointment to the head of Delphia

The Bénéteau Group has appointed a new manager for its Polish subsidiary Delphia, which is now refocused on inland waterways. Martin Schemkes, who joined Bénéteau in 2000 after working in marine engines, was previously in charge of sales management for the Jeanneau and Prestige brands in Central and Northern Europe.

New CEO for Port-Camargue

The Port-Camargue autonomous board, in charge of the marina located at the mouth of the Rhone, has appointed a new general manager as of April 2021. Jean-Romain Brunet succeeds Michel Cavaillès at the head of the marina, which has more than 5,000 berths.
