Hervé Gastinel back on the cruise
If he does not return directly to yachting, the former head of the Bénéteau group Hervé Gastinel, who was dismissed in 2019, returns to the maritime world. He has been appointed chairman of the cruise ship owner Ponant, owned by the Pinault family's holding company.
New production manager for aluminium yachts at Grand Large
The Grand Large Yachting group's aluminium sailing yacht brands, Allures Yachting and Garcia Yachts, have a new production manager. Jérôme Marie, who has been with the group since 2008 in purchasing management, has taken on this new role since March 2021 at the Cherbourg site.
New director for the ports of Vendée Grand Littoral
The agglomeration of Vendée Grand Littoral, which manages the ports of Bourgenay and Jard-sur-Mer, has recruited a new manager for their port activities. Fabrice Guyon, previously an independent consultant and bank branch manager, has become director of the ports. Over the last few years, he has presented numerous videos for the yachting industry.
ANEL appoints a new General Delegate
The National Association of Coastal Elected Officials (ANEL) has recruited a new general delegate. Anne-Sophie Leclère, who arrived on 1 March 2021, replaces Christine Lair. Through a career in various administrations, she has held several positions related to coastal development within the Ministry of Ecology and the Conservatoire du Littoral.
Martin Lepoutre back at RM Yachts
Owner of the RM yacht building yard for 15 years between 2002 and 2017, through Fora Marine, a subsidiary of his group Fora, Martin Lepoutre is back in the Rochelais company, since taken over by the Grand Large Yachting group. He will take over the general management, without returning to the capital.
