An International Breakfast Meeting of virtual yachting
The 6th edition of the International Breakfast Meeting was to be held at the 2021 Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show. Following the postponement and then cancellation of the German boating meeting due to the health situation, its organisers, the European Boating Industry Association and Boot Düsseldorf, announced the holding of an alternative digital event to keep the 2021 edition of the gathering of boating professionals. Called "The revival of tourism and leisure post-Corona - What future for yachting?", it will be held via the Zoom platform on 20 April 2021 between 10am and 12pm.
Exchanges on the revival of nautical tourism
The event will focus on a study carried out by European Boating Industry on the impact of Covid-19 on the boating industry and forecasts for the sector, based on a survey of companies. Exchanges and presentations on the European tourism strategy and the possibilities of building a dynamic for boating in 2021 will follow. "The International Breakfast Meeting (IBM) is the most important forum to discuss the most pressing issues in the industry. It promises to be informative as we look back to the year 2020 and take a look at the future of the yachting and water sports industry. We look forward to welcoming the industry back to Boot Düsseldorf 2022 with a live IBM," concludes Petros Michelidakis, Director of Boot Düsseldorf.
