In production, a single department will also oversee the production of outboard engines and boats, as well as promotion.

Accompanying new mobility

The announced reorganization affects all of Yamaha's activities, also outside of water sports, from motorcycling to medical activities. The research and development centre is also impacted to help develop new technologies. In particular, the focus is on automated vehicles and electric mobility. It is hoped that the electric propulsion project for boats, Harmo, will take advantage of this desire and accelerate its development.
