Brunswick resumes share buybacks
The American leader in yachting announced the resumption of its share buyback program. Suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis, the objective of the operation was to buy back $100 million of share capital over the year 2020. One third of this had been achieved before the suspension.
Osculati invests in production and logistics
The equipment manufacturer and distributor of equipment for the nautical industry, Osculati, has stated that it is preparing a development plan. The Italian company has already invested 1.2 million euros in a first phase beginning in August 2020. Two new storage sheds and the recruitment of 4 operators will strengthen the production department, while the logistics area will receive new locations and shelving for 2800 additional pallets.
Harken buys out its Dutch distributor
Rigger Harken has announced the acquisition of On Deck BV, its distributor in the Netherlands. The Dutch company is also a distributor of Wichard, Marlow, Plastimo, Bainbridge, Sunbrella, Scanstrut and other brands and has its own brands: Imhoff, Blue Performance, U-Rope, Ruddersafe and Trend Marine.
