An approved boat dismantling center in Martinique

APER, the eco-organization in charge of the dismantling of end-of-life pleasure boats, is setting up in the Caribbean. The association has granted approval to the company Metaldom, a subsidiary of the SEEN group, based in Fort-de-France in Martinique. Files are currently being studied in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin.

Nanni is awarded the contract for the maritime police force

The marine engine manufacturer Nanni will equip the future coastal surveillance vessels (VCSM) of the Gendarmerie Maritime. It will supply two MAN V12 D2862 engines for each of the units produced at the Socarenam shipyard (Editor's note: Nanni represents MAN for the French market).

Mercury partners with Frydenbo

U.S. engine manufacturer Mercury Marine has signed an original equipment supply agreement for Scandinavian group Frydenbo. The outboard engines will be offered on the transoms of the Sting and Nordkapp brands. They previously carried the colors of the defunct Evinrude brand.

Belon Marine Leisure announces distribution agreements

After its takeover by the Marée Haute group, the maintenance and trading company Belon Marine Loisirs has reviewed its distribution agreements. It is now a distributor of Suzuki outboard engines and Zeppelin RIBs, as well as a Bénéteau and Yanmar agent.

Poralu to build a port in New Zealand

The French marina specialist has won its first contract in New Zealand. The Australian team of the equipment manufacturer will be piloting the reorganization of the Tauranga Marina Society, in the Bay of Plenty.
